In Marylebone for a bit of sightseeing and neverending shopping. Popped by Langham place – best known for being home to BBC, London College of Fashion, and Roux at the Landau. Langham Place at Westminster is severely underrated. I love the wide selection of liberal brands: Tracey Neuls, Schuh, H&M’s Collection of Style, Hoss Intropia and Liberty of London. You also have your staples: Topshop, Urban Outfiters, Niketown, Uniqlo, Swatch, Pull & Bear, Alessi and Banana Republic.
Also good for its night scene: King & Queen, Artesian, The Crown & Sceptre, as well as The Adam and Eve.

They are the things that fill our lives with comfort
and our hearts with gladness —
just the pure air to breathe and the strength to breath it;
just warmth and shelter and home folks;
just plain food that gives us strength;
the bright sunshine on a cold day;
and a cool breeze when the day is warm.”

Writings to Young Women from Laura Ingalls Wilder – Volume One: On Wisdom and Virtues
“She dropped her shyness like a nightgown,
and in the liquid glare of sunlight on old boards
she held up her hands-as if, in the terror of the upcoming skirmish,
she had at last understood that she was beautiful.
In her own way.”
― Gregory Maguire, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart.
Try to love the questions themselves,
like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language.
Do not now look for the answers.
They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them.
It is a question of experiencing everything.
At present you need to live the question.
Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it,
find yourself experiencing the answer,
some distant day.”
